I’m A Celebrity South Africa fans were left feeling emotional over a moment involving Scarlett Moffatt during the ITV reality series’ live final.

The former Gogglebox star has been seen in recent weeks competing on the All Stars version of the Ant and Dec series. Scarlett was a favourite to win the series and become a ‘Jungle Legend’.

However in scenes that aired on Thursday (April 23), Scarlett was dramatically eliminated from the series. Shortly after taking on the Celebrity Cyclone challenge, she, Coronation Street icon Craig Charles, former football manager Harry Redknapp, actor Adam Thomas and Olympic hero Sir Mo Farrah had to take on a challenge called Keep Your Eye on the Ball.

The celebrities sat it in individual compartments as three different-coloured balls travelled through clear pipes. They had to track the count for each colour while facing various unwelcome distractions. At the end of the trial, Ant and Dec selected the blue ball at random and asked the celebrities to provide the precise count.

Sadly, it was confirmed that Scarlett was further away with her answer and she was immediately sent home. This meant that she was sent home at the final hurdle before the final.

During the week, Scarlett tearfully posted on her Instagram story that she had some news that she thought would ‘never happen again’, before later announcing that she’s pregnant with her second child.

A wholesome picture saw her and her partner Scott Dobinson joined by their son, Jude, who held a personalised newspaper with a headline saying: “Baby Dobinson another miracle coming soon!”

Announcing the news, Scarlett wrote: “We honestly can’t believe we’re writing this… After everything, we feel unbelievably lucky to be able to say… our family is growing. One little miracle gave us Jude, and now he’s going to be a big brother. And if there’s one thing we know for certain, it’s that he is going to be the most amazing big brother.

“We are so grateful, so excited, and still a little bit in shock… Our hearts are fuller than we ever thought possible.”

In a busy week for the star, Scarlett was among the former campmates who headed to London on Friday night (April 24) for the live final of I’m A Celebrity All Stars. During the episode, Ant and Dec took a moment to congratulate Scarlett on her good news.

Ant said: “We hear congratulations are in order. Scarlett is expecting.” Dec added: “Baby number two on the way.”

Visibly moved by the kind words, Scarlett joked that she has ‘a little bush baby on the way’. The moment saw fans rush to X, previously known as Twitter, to congratulate Scarlett and to once again express their frustrations that she wasn’t in the final.

@tvreality93 said: “Love Scarlett congrats on baby number 2 #imaceleb.” @xxncisaddictxx added: “Awwe congrats to Scarlett on her pregnancy #ImACeleb #imacelebrity.”

@elliemayginfizz commented: “I don’t care who wins tbh. Scarlett should have won! #imaceleb.” @LexieAshmore noted: “Scarlett is by default Queen of the Jungle by being the last woman standing. #ImaCeleb.”
