Dr Thethi is said to be “well-known” in the British aesthetics industry with a number of high-profile clients.
He graduated from the University of Leeds in 2013, is a member of the Royal College of Surgeons (Edinburgh) and opened the Yorkshire Skin Centre in its Yeadon premises in 2021.
In a statement the GMC said: “Dr Rajveer Singh Thethi is currently interim suspended pending the conclusion of a GMC investigation. The interim suspension was imposed by a medical tribunal on 16 April 2026.”
No further details of the reasons behind the suspension have been given.
The order prevents Dr Thethi practicing medicine while an investigation into his fitness to practice remains ongoing.
According to Companies House, Dr Thethi resigned as a director of Yorkshire Skincare Centre Ltd on 28 November.
On 28 January the CQC deregistered the business following a voluntary application.
Dr Thethi’s specialisms include facial aesthetics, plasma treatment, scar and hyperpigmentation treatment, and skin lesions.
Aesthetics clinics do not always require CQC registration, but must register if they offer a number of regulated activities, such as surgical procedures.
A CQC spokesperson said: “The service made the decision to deregister voluntarily in January this year.”
The Yorkshire Skin Clinic’s current director, Sharan Thethi, confirmed that Dr Thethi was no longer associated with the practice, but offered no further comment when contacted by the BBC.
