Robins: “We were poor, really poor. Nobody wants to hear, nobody wants to hear young players in the side, nobody wants to hear anything other than we’ve won a game and the truth about that is that we haven’t been good enough to win enough games this season. The last two games have been poor. This one was abject. There is not a lot I can say about it other than things need to change.

“Now, as I’ve said before, we know exactly what is required. You can see that it’s not right and probably hasn’t been right. We’ve got a lot of work to do and a lot of bridges to build. It’s a summer of work.

“It’s difficult to keep talking about the same things, which is why you talk about the end of the season coming, which is really difficult because people pay their hard earned to come and watch us and then that’s the performance. It has been really good this season at times but now, for whatever reason, it wasn’t good at all.”
