The fighters from Stourport Spartans Boxing Club took part in a series of skills bouts at The Magnet Centre in Birmingham, demonstrating their talent and dedication.

Based at The Forum in the heart of Stourport-on-Severn, the club has steadily established itself as a nurturing ground for aspiring boxers of all ages.

Four athletes from the club showcased their abilities, reflecting their hard work in training and progress in the sport.

Gracie Hart kicked off the action with a strong and technically sound performance.

She showed off her sharp movement and ring awareness, keeping calm under pressure while improving in defence and timing.

Frisco Loveridge was next, displaying slick footwork and a high work rate.

He was praised for his effective use of the jab and his resilience throughout the bout.

Jamie Quilligan impressed with his disciplined approach and clean technique.

He was commended for his balance and precise shot selection, sticking to fundamental boxing principles.

Bailey Abson-Cresswell rounded up the line-up with a spirited performance.

He showed growing confidence and a strong competitive spirit, maintaining a positive mindset throughout.

The event was hailed as a significant success by coaches and supporters, who praised the athletes’ effort, attitude and progress.

The coaching team, including Kailen Rushton, Klayton Rushton, Jake Hollis, Keaton Rushton and Melissa Jane Tout, received special praise for their dedication and technical guidance.

Gym owner Anthony Rushton was also credited for creating an inclusive and disciplined environment for the athletes.
