Foxwell asked that the public refrain from sharing “graphic footage” of the incident that led to Zakrzewska’s fatal injuries, stating that “the circulation of such material could also undermine our ongoing criminal investigation.”
MPS further said that on April 20 the suspect, Gabrielle Carrington, known online as RielleUK — was charged with attempted murder, grievous bodily harm with intent, actual bodily harm, dangerous driving and drunk driving in relation to the incident.
The attempted murder charge will now be amended to murder as a result of Zakrzewska’s death.
Both Zakrzewska and Carrington are known online for sharing lifestyle and fashion content, including their international travels.
“A 58-year-old man also suffered life-changing injuries following the incident,” MPS added.
MPS did not immediately respond to PEOPLE’s request for comment regarding Zakrzewska’s death.

While reading her initial charges in court, prosecutor Rizwan Amin said that Carrington could be seen in CCTV footage re-entering the vehicle she had arrived in and driving into what appeared to be Zakrzewska, who was “dragged forward and dropped between the vehicle and a metal bike rack,” per the Manchester Evening News.
Carrington did not immediately respond to PEOPLE’s request for comment.
