The event had been set to take place last night (April 25) at Watersmeet Theatre but was axed just three hours before showtime after the promoter claimed that the venue did not have any staff on site, meaning they were unable to set up for the show.

A spokesperson for Elite Concerts International said: “Despite our production team and cast arriving on site at the agreed time, we have still been unable to gain access to the venue. With insufficient time remaining to set up and present the show, we have no choice but to in form the fans that the even will not be happening.

“We have not yet been able to reach venue management, but we expect this date to be rescheduled rather than cancelled. We hope to confirm a new date within the coming days and will update you as soon as we have information.”

They added: “We’re truly saddened by this and understand the disappointment, inconvenience, and expense this may cause for many of you. We will inform the fans with an update in the coming days as soon as we know more.”

Watersmeet has been contacted for more information and details of any rescheduled date.
