The youngest horse and the oldest jockey are set to team up for an unlikely partnership in the Coolmore Nunthorpe Stakes on August 22 as Ger Lyons has booked 54-year-old Joe Fanning to ride exciting two-year-old filly Lady Iman. 

Lady Iman was last seen scampering clear of her rivals to land the Group 3 Molecomb Stakes at Glorious Goodwood, but Lyons had been lukewarm on running her against older horses at York ever since. 

However, the filly’s owner Roger O’Callaghan is keen on the race, and Lyons is set to give into him.
