All year, Exclaim! squirrels away terrible album artwork for our annual list of the year’s worst album covers, and Lizzo is throwing her hat in the ring by announcing her album BITCH.

That’s the album cover above. Wow! Look at that thing!

Vibes-wise, BITCH is an about-face from her previously planned studio album Love in Real Life, which evidently she has scrapped along with its title track and the single “Still Bad,” both of which flopped. The mixtape MY FACE HURTS FROM SMILING also came out last year.

The more recent single “Don’t Make Me Love U” came out on March 20 and failed to chart. This is her first album since three of her backup dancers came forward in 2023 with claims that she had created a hostile work environment.
