David Platt will share a major revelation regarding Jodie Ramsey on Coronation Street next week. With the ITV soap currently airing its ‘Murder Week’ episodes, will Jodie even be around when David airs his thoughts?
Ever since Jodie arrived in Weatherfield back in January, she has been plotting away to ruin the life of her half-sister, Shona. This has included driving a wedge in their marriage, namely by flirting with David.

It became apparent that Jodie was on the run after stealing a hard drive, but her past caught up with her as two men arrived on the cobbles. Later this week, Sarah discovers that the house has been turned over, and also unearths some secrets about Jodie.
In next week’s scenes, No.8 is positively a mess, and Sarah is worried about what the future holds. A forensic team takes a look, and the results come in the following day. David, meanwhile, explains to Shona about how he was lured into bed with Jodie.
Local police officer Kit Green arrives to inform them that the forensics team has found blood at the scene, but Shona is haunted when he explains that it belongs to more than one person.
In the aftermath, David and Shona discuss some of Jodie’s strange behaviour, but they’re unaware that they’re being watched. David subsequently heads to the police station to hand in evidence, but feels the prying eyes from Kit.
Fearing that they may consider him a suspect in whatever happened to Jodie, David reasons that he and Shona need to divulge all about the schemer. They get a shock, however, when more information about Jodie turns up on their doorstep.
“With the police involved and Shona so worried, clearly something big has happened here,” warns our Corrie source. “Fans will have to tune in to see whether Jodie has died or whether there’s another explanation.”

“But the problems are so big that David feels compelled to be honest with Shona about Jodie’s strange bedroom stunt. What will Shona make of it all?” continues our Weatherfield insider.
It remains to be seen if Jodie is alive during these developments, with the character being one of five potential victims during ‘Murder Week’. All will be revealed on Friday (1 May), when Betsy Swain’s discovery of a body is made clearer.
