The animals were spotted near Otley Bottom, and Suffolk Rural College was notified.
A spokeswoman for Suffolk Constabulary confirmed that the escape was reported to the police twice, first just after 5am and then again at 6am on Friday.
Police did not attend as the wallabies were not obstructing traffic.

The college welcomed a new wallaby in July last year, following the birth of a baby marsupial after mother Jessie gave birth.
Suffolk Rural College has been contacted for comment.
