The BBC has released its planned coverage of the Eurovision Song Contest 2026 in Vienna, Austria, across Television and radio.

The Eurovision Song Contest 2026 will be aired live on BBC One and BBC Radio 2. As ever on TV, the final will be commentated on by Graham Norton, while in the semi-finals, Rylan will be joined for the first time by Angela Scanlon. On the radio, Sara Cox will commentate on the Semi-Finals for Radio 2, with Rylan joining her for the Grand Final.

Alongside the live shows, BBC iPlayer and BBC Radio 2 will have additional shows focused on the Eurovision Song Contest. On BBC Radio 2, Sara Cox will host her teatime show live from Vienna on May 13, while Sophie Ellis-Bextor hosts her annual Eurovision themed Kitchen Disco on May 15. Sophie returns on Saturday afternoon for ‘Your Ultimate Eurovision Superstar!’, ‘All Request Eurovision’ will be hosted by Ellie Tayler between 6pm and 8pm, while OJ Borg continues from 11:30pm to 3am with ‘The Eurovision After Party’.

On iPlayer, RuPaul’s Drag Race UK star Ti Kofi will be hosting digital coverage of the competition. They will be presenting coverage from the Turquoise Carpet, the Eurovision Village and more across the BBC’s social media channels.

Look Mum No Computer will compete in the Grand Final on May 16. In addition, he will perform during the second semi-final on May 14. Find out more about Look Mum No Computer below:

United Kingdom in the Eurovision Song Contest+

The United Kingdom debuted in the Eurovision Song Contest in 1957 and holds the record for the most consecutive appearances in the contest. To date, the UK has won the contest a total of five times, with their first victory coming in 1967 and their latest in 1997. The UK holds the record for the most second-place finishes in the contest, having been runner-up a total of 16 times. Since 2000 the UK has finished within the top 10 only three times, this being in 2002 with Jessica Garlick, 2009 with Jade Ewen and 2022 with Sam Ryder who finished 2nd in Turin.
