June 6. Bournemouth International Centre (BIC) against Ryan Rozicki. I am ecstatic to be boxing back home again. The last time was December 2023. Zuffa (my new promoters) were a bit unsure as they have never witnessed a Bournemouth fight night and they wanted to do London.
However, Sky Sports said ‘trust us’ and they listened. I have my amazing support to thank for that as Sky Sports have always loved OUR fight night atmosphere. So thank you to everyone who has always turned out for me and I know you will all do it once again on June 6.

So who is Ryan Rozicki? A super tough, big-punching Canadian. His only loss was fighting at the weight division above, on three weeks’ notice. He will really come to fight and I will need to be on my A-game to get the win.
For me, it’s time to show everyone what I already know. I am not past it, I am not ‘cashing in’, I am the best I have been in my whole career and I am ready to beat everyone.
Five weeks to go. I will see you all there.

The club have already found a replacement for Andoni. Marco Rose seems to fit the bill with a high pressing and high scoring approach. I am so happy with how proactive and efficient the club is run. To already have a replacement manager is unheard of in football. We are extremely lucky to be supporters of a football club that is run so well, especially when you look at how others in the Premier League seem to be run and how unhappy their fans are with it.

Big game tomorrow as we fight for a spot in Europe. Hard to talk about us vs Palace without a beaming smile on my face. Two teams whose stadiums I have boxed (and won) at. I have to mention that, right? I think we can capitalise on the Eagles’ European away game on Thursday night. With some tired legs in their side and the travel, the last team they probably wish to be playing is a side who have high energy and press. Really hope the lads win so I can have bragging rights in the gym next week with Ellie Scotney being a Palace fan.
Lastly, a huge congratulations to AFCB women on their successful season. They topped off the campaign with a victory over title winners Watford. The frst season in that league, a third place finish and a cup trophy. A lot to build on going into next season where the ladies can push on and fight for promotion once again. UTCIAD
