The 25 metre, four-lane site will mark the return of swimming facilities in the town after more than ten years.
It is also being built as part of an expansion at Fakenham Sports and Fitness Centre on Trap Lane.
Video posted by North Norfolk District Council highlighted ‘exciting progress’ on the pool, with external steel works taking shape.
A previous update announced the pool was fully excavated, with aerial footage showing what the site looks like.
Everyone Active, which will operate the centre, said the pool was “a long-awaited return of swimming amenity to the town”.
It is replacing the pavilion that was used by Little Angels Pre-School before its move to Fakenham Rugby Club in 2024.
A revamp of the fitness facilities is also planned, with exercise studios and a 50-station gym earmarked.
The project is set to cost around £11m, with most of the funding coming from government grants.
Work is expected to finish by December 2026.
