An officer at the scene has told parents that a ‘water pistol’ was fired at a child.
He said no injuries have been caused.
He said it was ‘just two kids messing around with a water pellet gun’.
He added that the message given to police was that there was a child ‘with a firearm’, which is why officers responded and the school was put in lockdown.
