A good recovery for Sussex through the experienced Jack Leaning
and Daniel Hughes, that after Sussex had slumped to 18-2 against a very good
opening spell from Tom Helm
Helm who is on a two- match loan from Middlesex accounted for both
Tom Clark and Daniel Ibrahim, both well caught at first slip by Rishi Patel,
and he posed plenty of early problems’ for both Leaning and Hughes.
However Hughes in particular has punished any loose bowling and
has moved steadily through the gears, and on a beautiful sunny day and a fast
outfield he will have his eyes on his fist hundred of the season
