Alpha Cars, a recently launched 24/7 taxi company, marked its arrival in the city with a Star Wars-themed event featuring Darth Vader, Stormtroopers, and The Mandalorian, who handed out sweets and merchandise across the town centre.
They hit the streets, attracting crowds, on May 4 – also known as Star Wars Day, an annual, unofficial celebration of all things Star Wars.

The date comes from the famous line “May the Force be with you,” reimagined as “May the Fourth be with you,” which sounds almost identical when spoken.
Salisbury residents reacted positively, with many stopping for selfies.
A spokesman for Alpha Cars said: “The response from the public was incredible, with hundreds of flyers and giveaways handed out during the event and lots of positive feedback from local residents and visitors.”
