Derek McInnes’ Hearts take on Martin O’Neill’s Celtic at Tynecastle

Premiership leaders Hearts will be see their clash with Falkirk being broadcast on Sky after the SPFL reached an agreement with the broadcaster and the league leaders.

Celtic held up their end of the bargain after beating Rangers 3-1, hours after Hearts could only manage a draw against Motherwell, with only one point splitting the pair with two games remaining.

Derek McInnes’ side have reached their allotted number of home league games in Gorgie but special dispensation has been allowed due to Hearts eyeing their first title in 66 years.

That puts Celtic into the support slot for their game against Motherwell with Sky only broadcasting one live game on Wednesday night – but goals from Fir Park will be show live during the broadcast from Tynecastle.

Then all eyes will be on Celtic Park with Celtic vs Hearts to be shown across Britain and beyond with both hoping to be fighting for the title.

SPFL group chief executive Neil Doncaster said: “This has been an incredible season in the William Hill Premiership.

“With the title race reaching such a pivotal stage, we have reached an agreement with Heart of Midlothian and Sky Sports to make the Hearts v Falkirk match available to the widest possible audience.

“We would like to thank Sky Sports and Heart of Midlothian for making this possible and are very much looking forward to the final two rounds as the destiny of the trophy is decided.”
