Three Kent curry houses have been named among the best Asian eateries in the UK.
The trio all feature in this year’s UK’s Top 100 Curry Restaurants Guide.

Shozna in Rochester, The Bombay in Swanley, and Cinnamon Square in Hildenborough, Tonbridge, were included in the list.
The Asian Catering Federation (ACF) announced the winners at a ceremony held at the House of Commons last week.
The event was hosted by Lib Dem MP for Carshalton and Wallington, London Bobby Dean.
Each eatery is chosen by public vote and recommended by the Asian Catering Federation’s panel of curry-loving experts.
The judges look for businesses with outstanding food, but also for the communities they have built.
They also recognise the highest standards of hospitality and the jobs they have created.

Yawar Khan, chairman of the Asian Catering Federation, said: “Over the past year, the sector has continued to navigate rising costs, evolving consumer expectations, and ongoing economic pressures.
“Yet, despite all this, they remain resilient, continuously adapting, innovating, and finding new ways to connect with their customers.
“They are investing in their teams, embracing new ideas, and continuing to deliver exceptional dining experiences day in, day out.”

The UK Top 100 Guide was started in 2022.
The Asian restaurant sector employs over 100,000 people across the UK and contributes more than £7.5 billion to the economy.
