Statham and his fiancee, supermodel Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, are planning to quit the US and start a new life on the south coast.
Their palatial home between Lymington and the Beaulieu River will boast stunning views of the Solent and the Isle of Wight.
Statham, 58, is reported to have amassed a £90m fortune from the Fast and Furious franchise and other hits such like Snatch and Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels.
He is said to have paid £20m for the waterside site, with the house itself expected to cost about £5m.

Initial design work was carried out by Ben Pentreath, who also designed the Cotswolds estate of DJ Calvin Harris and his wife, BBC Radio One’s Vick Hope. Others involved in the project include Nicholas Umney, who turned it into a minimalist modern home in line with the actor’s tastes.
The property comes complete with a large treehouse, a huge gym, and a private beach which is said to be about 1,200ft long.

Other people living in the area include Dire Straits frontman Mark Knopfler and billionaire businessman Sir Jim Ratcliffe, who both own beachside homes.
Sir Jim founded the chemical giant Ineos and is also co-owner of Manchester United.

Statham’s new neighbours include Dire Straits co-founder John Illsley, and actor Kris Marshall, star of Death in Paradise and Beyond Paradise.
Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, who grew up in Devon, has spoken of wanting a bucolic country life after spending several years in Hollywood.
Reports say she and Statham are gradually loosening their ties with the US, having recently sold their £15m Malibu beach house to spend more time at their other home, a £7.5m townhouse in London.
Earlier this month, Rosie told Australian Vogue that she was preparing to move to the New Forest.
She added: “I’ve been dreaming of this since I left home. It will be mud and kids climbing trees. London at the weekends can feel very destination-driven. I want peace.”
Statham has already been spotted walking dogs along the beach with his friend, fellow Hollywood hardman Vinnie Jones.
Rosie started dating Statham in 2010, when he was already a well-established movie star with a string of hit movies to his name.
