The largest Polish energy company, ORLEN has partnered with Amazon Web Services to accelerate its digital and energy transformation, ORLEN announced. The collaboration focuses on leveraging cloud computing, AI and machine learning to improve operational efficiency and innovation.
Under the agreement, ORLEN will migrate its IT systems to a cloud-native architecture, enhancing scalability and digital security across its international operations. The move is planned to streamline everything from upstream energy production to consumer retail segments. Amazon Web Services will provide access to its global infrastructure and marketplace solutions, while also investing in digital skills training for ORLEN employees through certifications and workshops. The partnership is designed to improve technological flexibility by adopting a multi-cloud model.
