An average audience of 2.5 million viewers watched the final of the 70th Eurovision Song Contest live on TVP1 and TVP Polonia, with an audience share of 33.8%. Viewer interest peaked when Alicja Szemplińska performed “Pray”, with 3.3 million watching the Polish representative. The average viewing audience has fallen by 850,000 viewers, with share also falling 2.8 percentage points, the fall is likely due to Poland being represented by a lesser known act compared to Justyna Steczkowska in 2025.
Poland was represented by Alcija with “Pray” at Eurovision 2026. In the final she finished 12th scoring 150 points, including 12 points from the juries in Austria, Belgium, Germany and Moldova.

Poland in the Eurovision Song Contest+
Poland debuted in the Eurovision Song Contest in 1994 alongside a number of other Eastern European countries. Their debut year saw their best result to date in the contest, as Edyta Górniak finished in 2nd place with her song “To nie ja!”. Following this, Poland failed to repeat this initial success, only managing to achieve a top 10 finish on two other occasions since their debut. Since their return in 2014, they have been considerably more successful in the contest, having qualified for the final 7 times out of 11 attempts.
