LEVEL1, a 12,000 sq ft social gaming arena, will open this October on the entire first floor of the Chapel Stand at Southampton FC‘s ground.
The venue is designed for visitors of all ages and is part of the club’s ambition to make the stadium a year-round destination.
Saints said the move will bring a boost to the city’s economy, create jobs and attract thousands of additional visitors to the stadium each month.
A spokesman for Southampton Football Club said: “The launch of LEVEL1 marks an exciting new chapter for Southampton FC, turning more of the stadium into a vibrant space that fans, visitors, and the local community can enjoy all year round – not just on matchdays.”

“It’s part of the club’s commitment to bringing fans closer, welcoming more visitors, and making St Mary’s a place that’s alive with activity all year.”

It comes as Saints look to boost their off-pitch revenue to invest more into their football team amid tightening financial rules.
Current Profit and Sustainability rules mean clubs are allowed to make a specified total of losses over a three-year period, while proposed squad-cost rules could come in that will limit how much clubs can invest in transfer fees and player wages against their total revenue.
In June, speaking generally about the club’s plans, Saints owner Dragan Solak said: “Our plans are grand, and if we manage to do it, it will significantly increase our revenue and sustainability.
“It will not all be about relying on the television rights in the Premier League, but we will have a lot of other commercial revenues and improve the area. We are moving in a steady direction.”
