These people are wanted in Wales
Police in Wales are looking for a number of people who are wanted in relation to a series of alleged crimes. Officers are asking for members of the public to come forward if they have any information about the whereabouts of the people listed below.
This is not a comprehensive list of every wanted person in Wales. South Wales Police shares its active appeals on its force Facebook page but not all are featured as officers make every effort to trace suspects prior to them being published as wanted.
North Wales Police does not remove all its appeals once they are no longer active, meaning some older ones still appear online. The force was not able to confirm whether these were still active and the people were still wanted. To maintain the greatest degree of accuracy we have chosen to only include appeals shared since April 17, 2026, for both forces. You can sign up to our regular Crime and Punishment newsletter here.
We have asked both forces to provide us with full lists but they have declined to do so. Gwent Police and Dyfed-Powys Police appeals featured here are up to date.
Below are the people highlighted by police forces as wanted in Wales at the time of writing (May 22). If you have seen any of the following people, or know of their whereabouts, you are asked to call police on 101 and quote the relevant reference number beneath the picture. Paul Agius
Paul Agius is wanted by South Wales Police for alleged assault and controlling and coercive behaviour. The 22-year-old is from Fairwater.

South Wales Police is looking for Vlastislav Motycakova from Roath, Cardiff. The 21-year-old is wanted for alleged assault, criminal damage and harassment.

Coeyl Evans who has links to Llanrumney, Cardiff, is wanted by South Wales Police. The 21-year-old is wanted for allegedly being concerned in the supply of drugs.

Anthony Quilligan is wanted by police in south Wales. The 38-year-old, from Sandfields in Neath Port Talbot, is wanted for alleged offences of affray, dangerous driving, assault, and possession of an S5 firearm.

Callum Nicholas Jones

Callum Nicholas Jones, 38, from Llandudno, is currently wanted on warrant and for alleged breach of a domestic abuse protection order. Jones ran from officers on April 22 from a property in the Maes Derw area of Llandudno junction.

Ethan Power, 19, is wanted by Merseyside Police after allegedly not attending a court appearance in relation to an arson with intent to endanger life offence.He is described as being around 5ft 10in tall, has a slim build, brown hair and brown eyes. Ethan Power has links to Liverpool and Rhyl, North Wales.

Mohammed Ali Ege

A £10,000 reward has been offered for information leading to the arrest of Mohammed Ali Ege, 46. Ege is wanted in connection with the murder of a 17-year-old in 2010. In 2013 he was arrested in India but, while awaiting extradition in 2017, he escaped from Indian custody.
Shaun Barclay

Gwent Police is appealing for information to locate 39-year-old, Shaun Barclay from Caerphilly, who has allegedly breached his licence conditions after being released from prison.
He also has links to the Aberdare/Trelewis area. Barclay was serving a sentence for theft.

Gwent Police is looking for Jack Heard who has allegedly breached his licence conditions and been recalled to prison. Heard, 28 from the Torfaen area, has links to Pontypool and Cwmbran.

Dyfed-Powys Police is appealing for information to help locate Alan Tait who is from the Ammanford area. The 69-year-old is wanted by police in connection with a harassment offence and is believed to be in the Bideford area of Devon, and has links to south Wales and Gwent areas, too.

Gwent Police is appealing for information to locate 31-year-old Sardi Hasani who has allegedly breached his licence conditions after being released from prison on Wednesday, May 15. He has now been recalled to prison. The force said Hasani had links to Swansea.

Leigh Elston

Gwent Police is appealing for information to locate 35-year-old Leigh Elston from the Penpedairheol area. Elston has allegedly breached his licence conditions and has been recalled to prison. He received a prison sentence of five years and nine months for possession of drugs with intent to supply at Cardiff Crown Court in July, 2020.

Russell Turner

Gwent Police is re-appealing to locate Russell Turner, 29, who failed to return to HMP Prescoed. He was convicted of conspiracy to supply Class A drugs, possessing criminal property, and assault of an emergency worker at Birmingham Crown Court in March, 2020.
Turner is described as around 6ft tall with brown hair and brown eyes. He has several tattoos on his arms, hand, neck, and torso and a scar on his head. Members of the public are advised not to approach him.
Police said: “Turner has links to the West Midlands area, mainly Birmingham, and he is not a registered sex offender. It is believed there may be a potential risk as the individual is no longer in the custody of the prison service. We have activated our operational plan with the aim of locating the individual and the prison are co-operating fully with us.”

Officers carrying out an investigation into an alleged assault would like to speak to Dean Robbins who could assist their inquiries.
Gwent Police is looking to speak to the 33-year-old in connection with the investigation. It is believed he has links to Alway, Newport.

Valter Hoxha

Gwent Police is appealing for information to find Valter Hoxha from Newport. Hoxha, 40, is reported to have breached his licence conditions following his release from prison on April 18 and is now recalled to prison.
He was sentenced to 13 months in prison after he was found guilty of being concerned in the production of cannabis and possession of criminal property.
