Posting on Facebook, “24” actor Keifer Sutherland, took to Facebook to post a video of his amazement at the packed seafront.
He said: “Last night we played in Exeter, drove through the night and I woke up to this.”
Overlooking the pier, the international film star turned in amazement to see the crowded beach.
Kiefer Sutherland is a British-born Canadian actor and musician best known for playing counterterrorism agent Jack Bauer in the TV thriller “24”, a role that won him Emmy and Golden Globe awards.
His four-decade career spans standout film roles in “Stand By Me”, “The Lost Boys”, “A Few Good Men” and “Young Guns”, plus later TV leads alongside a parallel career as a country-influenced singer-songwriter.
Mr Sutherland is in Bournemouth this week as part of his band’s “Love Will Bring You Home Tour”, performing at the O2 Academy on Monday, May 25.
