There is heavy traffc at both ends of the A55 and on the A494 this afternoon. The wesbound carriageway between Northop and Mold is partially blocked.
Traffic Wales is reporting “heavy congestion” in the area. There was also an “incident” on the St David’s Interchange, on the westbound stretch of the A494.
At the other end of the A55 traffic remains heavy on the westbound approach to the Britannia Bridge.
The bridge crossing is tipped to be busy all week with Anglesey hosting Eisteddfod yr Urdd Ynys Môn 2026.
