Marsh is now among many notable absentees for the Pakistan series. Regular ODI skipper Pat Cummins and opener Travis Head are not part of the touring party, nor is Josh Hazlewood, with the troika set to feature for their respective teams in the IPL 2026 playoffs commencing Tuesday (May 26). While Cummins, Hazlewood and Mitchell Starc (who is also not touring Pakistan) have been rested from the Bangladesh tour too, Head will join the squad for that series.
