A new business had four of their vehicles stolen when they were ram-raided overnight. Seven Competitions had two high performance cars and two motorbikes, worth around £80,000, taken from their unit in Hebburn, South Tyneside, during the early hours of Wednesday morning.
The company, who has only been operating for five weeks, run competitions and raffle off the vehicles as prizes. One of the bikes had already been won by a competition winner and the other three vehicles were in the process of being raffled off.
Manager Josh Vogel said they believe a large vehicle was used to ram the shutter before the vehicles were stolen. They were a grey 2017 BMW M140i, a nitrous blue Ford Focus RS and two Sur-Ron bikes.

The 28-year-old, from Cramlington, Northumberland, said: “I saw the garage door had been smashed through and there was nothing left. None of the vehicles were there.
“Everyone is gutted. We have just started to find our feet.
“I haven’t really taken it in. I’m still in shock. I don’t know where we go from here to be honest.
“Everyone who has entered the competitions is going to have to get refunded.

“Someone has won one of the bikes and they were due to collect it but they won’t have a bike to collect because it’s been stolen. That was our first live draw.
“It was disappointing. We have literally just started (building) from the ground up. It’s taken us straight back to square one.”
Josh said a new staff member began working for the company on Wednesday. He added: “He’s turned up to our premises to discover it’s been smashed through. We have got nothing.”

The incident, which is believed to have occurred at around 3am, has been reported to Northumbria Police. The business, which is based on Victoria Industrial Estate, has reassured those who have entered the competitions that they will get their money back.
They have asked people to bare with them while they get everything sorted and to keep an eye out for the stolen vehicles. They posted on social media: “Unfortunately, last night at around 3AM, our unit in the Hebburn area was broken into.
“We are asking everybody to please keep an eye out and if anyone has any CCTV footage, dashcam footage, information, or spots any vehicles matching these descriptions, please contact us immediately or report it to the police.

“A lot of you will have already seen the jokey post from the lads trying to make light of the situation, but truthfully we are absolutely devastated. So much hard work, time, money and effort has gone into building this company from the ground up.”
Northumbria Police say they are investigating the burglary. A spokesperson for the force said: “Just after 8.30am today (Wednesday), we received a report of a burglary at a premises in South Tyneside.
“It was reported that entry had been forced into a unit and a number of vehicles stolen on the Victoria Industrial Estate in Hebburn. Since the report was made to us, a number of enquiries have been carried out and an investigation has been launched to locate those responsible.
