The Carlisle United youth coach, who died in 2023, will be remembered at the event at Eden Golf Club next week.
A host of former Blues colleagues are expected to be among those teeing up in honour of Wilkes, the Brunton Park club’s hugely respected youth team figurehead for many years.
It is being held three years after his passing and funds raised will support Andy’s Man Club, the men’s mental health and suicide prevention charity, as well as the Carlisle United Community Sports Trust.

There was a strong turnout of golfers at the inaugural event last June and another busy day on the course is expected as people gather to remember Wilkes, who was 59 when he died on June 22, 2023.
The forthcoming event is on Friday, June 5 and will involve teams of four taking part.
It is due to get under way at 11am, with a shotgun start, and golfers can enjoy bacon rolls beforehand and then a two-course meal with the prize presentation after the action.

Among the players to take part last year were former United captain David Reeves, who has again entered a team in this year’s event.
Wilkes gave the Blues admired service for 27 years and was a pivotal figure in the development of many top Cumbrian footballers at United.
