I said pre-kick-off that the weather might have an impact on this game.

Well I was wrong. Heat or not, Wigan absolutely raced out of the blocks and the game seldom slowed down.

Another year, however, and another massive deficit for St Helens to claw down in the second half.

Wigan have a hand on the trophy here and it’ll take something big to stop them from lifting it for the second year in a row.
