Update [Tue 2nd Jun 2026, 10:22pm]: It’s official! The trailer for Rayman Legends Retold has been revealed today as part of the State of Play event, confirming the release date of October 1st.
You can check out the trailer above, along with more details below. It’s also been confirmed that Rayman Origins: Enhanced Edition will be included with all versions of the game, with the Standard Edition retailing for £34.99 / $39.99 on the Xbox Store.

Original Story: We’ve got a new version of Rayman Legends on the way!
Ahead of an upcoming announcement (expected at PlayStation’s State of Play event tonight), some details have leaked about Rayman Legends Retold, which is a remake / remaster of the excellent 2013 platformer.
The game is set to release on October 1st, 2026, and will cost $39.99. It’ll also apparently include a free version of Rayman Origins: Enhanced Edition, which recently leaked on the Xbox Store revealing features such as 4K resolution at 60 FPS, along with new quality-of-life features.

If you haven’t played it before, Rayman Legends is an amazing 2D platformer that’s included as part of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, while Rayman Origins was released two years earlier and was also an excellent Xbox 360 title.
Back in the day, we even gave Rayman Legends an “Outstanding” 10/10 score here at Pure Xbox!
