The front of a house has been wrecked after being ploughed into by a Tesla car. Emergency services descended on Bag Lane, in Atherton, Wigan borough, at 11.23pm last night (June 4).
Two fire engines attended the scene, near the junction with Mealhouse Lane, alongside police and paramedics. Greater Manchester Police says a woman suffered minor injuries following the crash.
One police car remains in attendance at the scene this morning (Friday). Images show metal barriers outside the front of a house on Bag Lane, where the front door appears to have come off in the crash.

Bricks have also been dislodged above the doorway, with a significant amount of debris on the pavement outside. The window has been boarded up, while the pavement has been blocked off outside the house.
Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service (GMFRS) says two people were treated at the scene by paramedics, before they were taken to hospital. Specialist equipment was used to clear the area.

A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service said: “Shortly after 11:23pm yesterday evening (Thursday, June 4), two fire engines and an enhanced rescue unit from Atherton, Hindley and Leigh fire stations were called to reports of a road traffic collision involving an electric car and a house on Bag Lane in Atherton, Manchester. Crews arrived quickly on the scene.
“Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used a hose reel, covering jets and battery-operated cutting equipment to mitigate the risk of a fire and worked with GMP to make the area safe. Colleagues from North West Ambulance Service treated two people at the scene and took them to hospital. Firefighters were in attendance for around two hours.”
