Gallery 21 in Queen Street, Salisbury, has suddenly closed its doors, and the inside of the shop has been stripped completely bare.

The art gallery has been in its central location since 2019 and has been run by Trevor Horswell, who brings more than 40 years of art experience.

It has been a popular location for local artists to showcase their work and also for tourists to come and view the masterpieces inside.

On Monday, June 8, there was some speculation on Facebook that the gallery may have closed and had stopped replying to customers’ emails.

On Tuesday, June 9, The Journal visited the shop to find it completely empty inside, with no note or indication as to when or why it had closed.

The Journal have tried to contact Gallery 21 for more information, but has had no response.
