Danny Dyer is back for season 2 of Mr Bigstuff, currently trending on a UK streamer.

The EastEnders and Rivals actors stars opposite creator Ryan Sampson, with the duo playing polar-opposite siblings Lee and Glen. The brothers reunite as Glen is trying to save some cash to fund his wedding to fiancée Kirsty (Harriet Webb).

The award-winning series premiered the first two episodes of the new instalment on 24 July, releasing more episodes weekly ahead of the 21 August finale. Mr Bigstuff is currently trending on NOW, where it ranks fourth among the top 10 of the most watched content.

The series has received mostly positive reviews, with critics praising Dyer’s comedic skills and charisma.

Fans have equally been captivated by the comedy, with one person calling it “just what everyone needs” on Rotten Tomatoes‘ audience reviews.

Cast for Mr Bigstuff is rounded out by Adrian Scarborough as Ian, Taskmaster star Fatiha El-Ghorri as Aysha and Philip Philmar as Roger.

Season 2 marks an EastEnders reunion for Dyer and former co-star Linda Henry, known for soap fans for playing Dyer’s character Mick Carter’s mum, Shirley.

On the new show, Henry portrays a mechanic named Pam alongside season 2 newcomers, former Coronation Street star Rula Lenska and Snatch actor Alan Ford.

As for Dyer, he’s set to reprise the role of businessman Freddie Jones in season 2 of Rivals, also starring David Tennant, Alex Hassell, Aidan Turner and Nafessa Williams.

Mr Bigstuff season 2 is airing on Sky Atlantic and streaming on NOW in the UK. Season 1 is available on the same platform.
