Wand’s emergence this season has been one of the success stories for Tigers, and this experience will likely prove valuable as he continues to develop.
He showed glimpses of promise with a few solid carries but struggled to influence the game consistently. As a player already on the fringes of England contention, seeing opposite number Tom Litchfield score a hat-trick will not have helped his case.
Substituted shortly before the hour mark, it was a difficult evening and not one of his stronger performances.

A relatively quiet afternoon overall. He was solid under the high ball and reliable in defence when called upon, but his display will be overshadowed by one costly error. With Bath crying out for territory in the closing stages, he sliced a crucial kick straight into touch on the full, handing possession back at a time when every metre mattered.
