The 2025 Vuelta a España will start in the space of just over a week, and until now only one team has confirmed its lineup for the Spanish race: UAE Team Emirates – XRG. Other teams, however, may have already made the decisions, with only the announcements left, and it is reported that Team Visma | Lease a Bike have already made their decision. This is according to Wielerflits, the Dutch news outlet writes that the Dutch team have already decided on their full lineup for the final Grand Tour of the season with one change regarding it’s initial plan. This is that of Victor Campenaerts, who was inserted in the lineup on his request and also after a brilliant Tour de France. It was believed that he would be replacing Dylan van Baarle who would have a similar role, but instead it should be the departing Attila Valter who should be left out of the race after not showing his best form at the Tour de Pologne.Jonas Vingegaard will be leading the team as announced earlier in the season, finishing the Tour de France much more mentally fresh than a Tadej Pogacar who decided against backing up the Tour with a Vuelta return – after six years. He will be having former Vuelta winner Sepp Kuss and Matteo Jorgenson as his main support men in the mountains, as was the case at the Tour de France. Both riders can realistically play a role in the overall classification.
