A “domestic” incident shut a road in Rhyl this morning (Monday). People were urged to find alternative routes around Water Street, while police dealt with the emergency.
A North Wales Police statement said: “Water Street in Rhyl is currently closed due to an ongoing incident. Please find an alternative route. Thank you.”
Police released a later statement confirming a man had been “detained” following a “domestic” incident.
A force spokesperson said: “Officers attended a property on Water Street, Rhyl to reports of a domestic incident. The road was closed as a precaution, and a man was detained.”
