It may be club rugby’s off-season but there are plenty of moves taking place around the Gallagher PREM as players and coaches come and go.
Here is a look at all the latest confirmed moves and transfer rumours from around the Gallagher PREM…

New Zealand star exploring Red Bulls U-turn
Star Kiwi winger Fehi Fineanganofo is looking to get out of his move to England to join Newcastle Red Bulls for next season, in what would be a considerable blow to the Gallagher PREM side.
Fineanganofo has equalled the single-season Super Rugby record by scoring 16 tries for the Hurricanes this year on their way to being crowned champions, and has been named in New Zealand head coach Dave Rennie’s All Blacks squad for the summer.
But a move abroad would make the 23-year-old ineligible for the All Blacks.
Discussing the questions over his future, Fineanganofo, said: “I don’t actually know. I’m just leaving it to my agent and I’m still waiting for him to come back to me, maybe in the next few weeks, but hopefully soon.”
“It’s probably one of the hardest decisions I’ve made this year,” Fineanganofo said. “You know, to choose between the jersey and my family. At the start of this year, I chose family, and now things have changed. My parents could see that as well. You just can’t give up an opportunity like this.”

Super Rugby-winning attack coach joins Harlequins
Harlequins have unveiled Brad Cooper as the club’s new attack coach ahead of the 2026/27 campaign.
Cooper has quickly built a reputation as one of New Zealand rugby’s rising attack coaches and he joins the PREM club from the Super Rugby Pacific Champions, Hurricanes who set new attacking records on their way to the title this season.

Exeter Chiefs set to sign Lions lock
Exeter Chiefs are set to sign Zimbabwe-born lock Darrien Landsberg from United Rugby Championship side the Lions, according to the latest reports.
Chiefs director of rugby Rob Baxter has been on the hunt for a meaty second row recruit, having waved goodbye to three locks this summer with Rusi Tuima joining Newcastle Red Bulls, Christ Tshiunza – who can also play across the back row – moving to Sale Sharks and Alfie Bell joining Cornish Pirates.
Landsberg, 27, was but raised in Johannesburg but born in Zimbabwe and is yet to play Test rugby for either nation, but is an experienced operator in the URC.
RugbyPass report the 6ft, 5in, 17st and half stone second row, who can also play flanker, has signed a two-year contract with the Chiefs.

Newcastle add former sevens star winger
Former World Sevens Player of the Year Werner Kok has joined Newcastle Red Bulls ahead of the 2026/27 Gallagher PREM season
South African winger Werner arrives on a one-year deal having scored 12 tries in 19 appearances last season for Ulster, having played 35 times in two years.
Kok has scored 29 tries in 76 URC matches and a further eight in his 18 European appearances, forming part of the Sharks squad which beat Gloucester in the EPCR Challenge Cup final back in 2024.

Bath backs and attack coach departs
Bath Rugby have officially parted company with backs and attack coach Martin Gleeson, as head of rugby Johann van Graan looks to get the club’s attack firing on all guns again to return to the summit of English rugby.
Bath are expected to announce Munster coach Mike Prendergast as Gleeson’s replacement, although the availability of former Bath and England star Mike Catt, who left the NSW Waratahs by mutual consent this month, will likely have sparked interest.

Sevens winger heading to Cornwall
Champ Rugby side Cornish Pirates are have confirmed the signing of Australia 7s winger Henry Palmer.
Palmer, who is English qualified, has been involved with the Wallabies at sevens level for the past three years/
He has also been a part of the most recent Western Force wider training squad, having previously also been involved with the Brumbies.

Wallabies star to extend his Exeter Chiefs stay
Wallabies flanker Tom Hooper is understood to have put pen to paper on a new deal extending his contract with Exeter Chiefs.
Devon Live understands that reports from Australia are correct that the abrasive 6ft 6in backrower has signed up for an additional year at Sandy Park after initially joining on a two-season deal, having settled in so well, in a huge boost to director of rugby Rob Baxter and his ambitions to remain a side competing for silverware.
