A Canada goose was spotted by Iain David Crawford on Sunday at Bodenham Gravel Pits.
His find was uploaded to goingbirding.co.uk.
The Canada goose, originally from North America, is known for its distinctive black head and neck, large white throat patch, and substantial size.
They are now a common sight across most of the UK, having spread after being introduced about 300 years ago.
They nest on park lakes, flooded gravel pits, and reservoirs.
After the Second World War, their population spread extensively throughout the UK.
While they form noisy flocks and can become a nuisance in parks and green spaces.
Occasionally, wild Canada geese go astray and reach the UK from North America, but these are usually smaller subspecies found in northeast England and Scotland.
Sightings of larger subspecies can be a challenge to confirm as wild, due to their resemblance to the resident feral population.
