The 51-year-old was sensationally let go by the Formula 1 team in July from his position as team principal and chief executive.

Since then, he has largely spent most of his time at his home near Banbury that he shares with his wife, the Spice Girl Geri Halliwell-Horner.

Mr Horner had been in charge of Red Bull since 2005, overseeing eight drivers’ world championships and six constructors’ titles.

At the time he was the longest serving team principal on the grid, now overtaken by rival Toto Wolff of Mercedes.

But now Mr Horner has been dealt with a fresh blow after Companies House records show he has been terminated as a director of the business.

Red Bull Racing and Red Bull Technology Limited terminated his appointment as a director of both companies.

Records published on Thursday afternoon also show that Stefan Salzer, the global head of head of human resources at Red Bull, was appointed as a director on July 8, a day before it was announced Horner had been sacked.

The termination marks an end to his time at Red Bull, an impressive and successful career spanning 20 years.

He said shortly after his sacking: “I leave with immense pride in what we’ve achieved and also with what’s in the pipeline for 2026 — and huge respect for everyone who’s made F1 the pinnacle it is today.”
