The exchange is the latest in an increasingly personal rivalry between the two fighters as they prepare for their expected clash on September 12 in Las Vegas.
Ryan won the WBC welterweight title earlier this year in February against Mario Barrios and will be looking to make the first defense of his championship against Benn, who is aiming to become a world champion after moving up from the welterweight contender ranks.
