Stewart made 30 appearances for the Wasps, scoring three goals and providing six assists as the team narrowly missed out on promotion to the Scottish Championship.
After signing his new contract, Stewart said: “I’m absolutely delighted to have extended my contract with the club.
“It’s a real honour to walk through those blue gates each and every day, and this club has been an important part of my life.
“Last season at Alloa was a really crucial step in my development, and I feel I’ve grown a lot as a player, but I know there’s still so much more hard work ahead and I’m fully focused on pushing on and improving even further.”
