Seals have become a regular, photogenic visitor to Ipswich Waterfront in recent years, delighting early‑morning walkers and marina businesses alike.
Sightings have included lone seals cruising between the moored yachts as well as animals happily tucking into fish breakfasts in the marina, with videos and photos quickly shared on social media.
Their presence has added an unexpected bit of wildlife glamour to the regenerated docks, underlining the growing ecological appeal of the Orwell and providing easy local colour for waterfront traders and visitors.
