Derby Road Practice emerges as one of the standout performers for patient experience, while Burlington Primary Care sits firmly at the other end of the scale, according to the latest GP survey data.
Phone access shows some of the widest variations, with 74% of respondents at Derby Road saying it is easy to get through to the GP, compared with just 25% at Cardinal Medical Practice.

Other surgeries also perform strongly on phone contact, including Orchard Medical Practice and The Peninsula Practice, both at 73%.
The gap widens when patients try to get in touch online, where Derby Road records an 87% “easy to use” score for its website, against 33% at Burlington Primary Care and 51% at Ravenswood Medical Practice.
Contact via the NHS App is similarly uneven, ranging from 32% at Ravenswood to 68% at Orchard and Two Rivers Medical Centre who say it is easy.

Reception and administrative teams generally fare better, with helpfulness scores above 80% at Derby Road at 93%, Orchard at 96% and Two Rivers at 91%
Burlington again sits towards the lower end of the table, with 80% of patients describing its reception and admin team as helpful.
Continuity of care remains a concern across several surgeries, with only 21% of Burlington patients and 24% at Cardinal saying they are able to see or speak to their preferred healthcare professional always, almost always or a lot of the time.

At Two Rivers Medical Centre, that figure rises to 52%, suggesting that while many practices perform well on friendliness and basic access, reliably seeing the same clinician is still a challenge for many patients.
