If you’re looking for a bike to win races, don’t look much further than the Colnago Y1Rs. UAE Team Emirates-XRG’s aero bike has won over 50 races so far in 2026, and that’s before we even take a look at the women’s UAE Team ADQ squad.
The most prominent victor on the Y1Rs is, of course, Tadej Pogačar. The two-time world champion has been unstoppable this year, scoring wins at the Tour of Flanders, Milan-San Remo and the Tour de France, all on the Y1Rs. In fact, Pogačar hasn’t even ridden the team’s other bike, the Colnago V5Rs all-round race bike, since the Y1Rs was launched last year.
To no one’s surprise, the Slovenian has already got off to winning ways on the Y1Rs at this year’s Tour de France, with two stage wins already under his belt in week one.

Tadej Pogačar’s Tour de France 2026 Colnago Y1Rs

This is Tadej Pogacar’s second Tour de France using the Colnago Y1Rs. For the most part, the bike looks similar to the set-up he used at the Spring Classics, with the lightweight bottle cages, stripped-back paint job, rainbow touches and custom 55/40t Carbon-Ti lightweight chainrings.

The gull-shaped handlebar has become a staple of UAE Team Emirates-XRG over the past season. Interestingly, Isaac del Toro is one of the few members on the team to use the V5Rs on hillier days, even riding it to victory on Stage 2 of the Tour.

On close inspection, you can just about see that Pogačar rides with a 5mm spacer.
The four-time Tour winner keeps the exposed carbon frame that he first used on the Tour’s mountain time-trial last year for weight-saving purporses.

The Slovenian uses a custom 3D-printed computer mount that looks much lighter than his previous mount.

Pogačar has been racing on Enve’s SES 4.5 Pro wheelset for most of the 2026 season. However, these appear to be an unreleased model from Enve, presumably the SES Pro 6.7. That would see these rims go up to the limit of what’s legal under the UCI’s new rim depth rules. According to the imprint on the rim, the internal width is 23.5mm.
