Hundreds of thousands of fans of all ages will descend on Royal Birkdale this week to witness The 154th Open play out.
Whether you are a seasoned veteran of spectating at golf’s original championship or attending for the first time, there are no shortage of new and returning activations across the practice and championship days.
Sunday 12 July
The Spectator Village is the place to be for those looking to hone their skills. One-to-one PGA pro lessons are available in the Swing Zone while prizes are on offer for masters of the short game in Long Putt.
Those looking for a more serene Sunday can sit back, soak up the sunshine and watch the Genesis Scottish Open, Evian Championship and the Wimbledon men’s singles final on the big screens.

Monday 13 July
It is worth pitching up early on Monday as the inaugural Last Chance Qualifier takes place.
Twelve players, in four groups of three, will battle it out for the final remaining spot in the draw for The 154th Open – details of which will follow later in the day.
Live At The Range begins broadcasting on Monday, while Building The Open in the Mastercard Club will reveal more about what goes on behind the scenes.
The Mastercard Club will also host a signing session with Billy Horschel, while Dame Laura Davies drops in for a Champions of Birkdale talk-in.

The Heroes Classic is the centrepiece of Tuesday’s action, with an all-star cast of top stars – including reigning Champion Scottie Scheffler – teeing off from 4.15pm.
