Aah, and breathe again – all the big sporting events are now OVER. Which means that it’s all systems go. We have season 2 of The Crow Girl, The Rapture on BBC One, a new primetime slot for the return of Granite Harbour and French series Elite Force.

But wait, there’s more. We’re seeing increasing instances of mainstream channel licensing series that were first shown on smaller channels, as well as cross-channel licensing. So, we’re getting I, Jack Wright (see our review here), the reimagining of Bergerac on BBC One and Two respectively, plus The Twisted Tale Of Amanda Knox and The Staircase on ITV1, thanks to its deal with Disney+.
