The 29-year-old has been in the Premier League since 2018, when he joined West Ham United from Toulouse.
He made a total of 121 appearances for the Hammers, scoring eight goals, before moving across London four years ago to link up with Fulham. Diop has since gone on to feature on 96 occasions for the Cottagers.
This summer, Diop made five appearances for a Moroccan side that reached the quarter-finals of the FIFA World Cup.
He memorably scored a stoppage-time equaliser to send the round of 32 clash against the Netherlands into extra-time, with Morocco eventually going on to win via a penalty shootout.
