We’re finally here! San Diego Comic-Con 2026 will soon have its big Marvel moment, and IGN will be in the front row reporting live from Marvel Studios’ Hall H panel. The action kicks off at 5.30pm PT / 8.30pm ET / 1.30am, July 26 UK time. So be sure to check back below for all the announcements, trailer information, and anything else the Marvel Cinematic Universe has up its sleeve for fans.
So, what should we expect? Well, Avengers: Doomsday is out this December, and we just got its first proper trailer. So I’m sure we’ll get plenty of Doomsday talk from Marvel Studios boss Kevin Feige and perhaps some (or maybe even many!) of its stars. Maybe we’ll get some casting announcements — could there be room in Doomsday for even more characters? We will hopefully see new footage. Maybe we’ll even get a tease for next year’s Secret Wars.
The big hope is that Marvel Studios does its big timeline of releases thing, and outlines the future of the MCU beyond Secret Wars. We know that Feige plans for a reset moment — although he insists it’s not a reboot. Could we get an announcement for the first post-Secret Wars movie?
Marvel Cinematic Universe: Every Upcoming Movie and TV Show
This week, Feige said Marvel had mapped out its movie plans up to 2042, and he hinted at a “streamlined, simplified” universe post-Avengers: Secret Wars, a big push for the new X-Men, and plans to eventually unveil a live-action Miles Morales. Surely it’s time to get a better idea of how it will all work, and if so, maybe tonight’s the night.

Ryan Coogler is on stage to announce Black Panther 3, which is due out December 15, 2028. Letitia and Winston are back on stage. Coogler says the son of the great character Chadwick Boseman played comes of age on Black Panther 3. The new Black Panther is David Jonsson, of Alien: Romulus and The Long Walk fame! Jonsson is overwhelmed by cheers.

The Russo Brothers introduce exclusive Avengers: Doomsday footage. We see Doom on the throne. Sue Storm says he used to be kind, he used to be caring, but everything he loved was taken from him. We see intense shots of Thor, Shang-Chi, Shuri, and Gambit.
Doom raises his hand and an army of dormant Sentinels rises from the ground. They’re the most comic accurate we’ve seen in a movie.
Kevin Feige thanks everyone like the presentation is ending… but is it really? No… the lights haven’t gone up. All the actors leave the stage. It might really be over? But wait…
NO. Feige walks back on stage. “There is one more thing…”

Deadpool is confirmed for Avengers: Doomsday! Ryan Reynolds is in a grey Deadpool costume. Ryan (in mask), says: “Longtime listener, first time caller. I’m a huge fan. I’m not wearing a Doom mask over this mask because I don’t want to ruin the lines of my Canadian tuxedo.”
Where is Thor and why was he crying? It’s a question we’ve all had since Deadpool & Wolverine came out. Ant-Man actor Paul Rudd suggests, “he’s a Wrexham fan.”

That’s the question Kevin Feige asks on-stage. The Russos ask the audience to answer, and there are plenty of yesses. Feige asks Pedro Pascal and RDJ: “Will Reed and Doom have a history together in Doomsday?” They joke, “Besties!”
Avengers: Doomsday is here!
Avengers directors, the Russo Brothers, arrive on-stage. At the back of Hall H is Rebecca Romijn, Lewis Pullman, James Marsden, Hannah John-Kamen, David Harbour, Kelsey Grammer, Winston Duke, Simu Liu, Tenoch Huerta, Danny Ramirez, Anthony Mackie, Paul Rudd, and maybe more. Back on the front stage is Pedro Pascal, Hayley Atwell (confirming she’s in it), and Chris Evans.
Robert Downey Jr. arrives on the front stage. “God bless us all! I gotta tell you, it isn’t easy being green,” he says. “I had a lot of help. I had this whole family around me to finally be an arch nemesis. Decisions will have to be made… you have to decide if you’re on the side of the good guys or (IN DOOM VOICE) you may consider the alternative of joining the family of Doom.”
Robert Downey Jr. asks people to wear those Doom masks. Hayley Atwell says we’ll need some help, and all the actors at the back are coming to the front stage. They are all walking through the crowd giving high fives. This is a big moment, like 20 Marvel heroes, split on two sides of Hall H, walking to the stage. Harbour gives RDJ a thumbs down because of course he’s a bag guy.
Spider-Man: Brand New Day new footage
The Punisher star Jon Bernthal walks on-stage to talk about Spider-Man: Brand New Day, and to introduce new footage. We see Hulk smash Spider-Man on the floor, only the Punisher to walk up and shoot Hulk over and over. Hulk is pissed, as you’d expect, and Spider-Man throws an exploding web, trapping Hulk. Spider-Man asks the Punisher what he’s doing here, and he responds to say “I’m saving your ass.” Spider-Man adds: “This is way above your paygrade!” Spider-Man webs the Punisher and drags him behind him, underneath Hulk. An explosive is thrown at Hulk, who catches it and says, “Really?” in Mark Ruffalo’s voice, as if he’s a hybrid Smart / Savage Hulk. He’s roaring and furious but also can speak normally.
Spider-Man and the Punisher make a plan where Spider-Man will get something while the Punisher distracts. “You’re gonna fight the Hulk?” Spider-Man asks. “I guess so,” the Punisher responds. And that’s the end of the footage!
Ghost Rider is confirmed!
As rumored, Marvel Studios has confirmed a Ghost Rider movie, and it’s Ryan Gosling in the title role! Ryan Gosling is on-stage: “Wow, is this really happening? Okay… uh… as you know, this is a character I’ve wanted to play for a very long time.” The director is Deadpool & Wolverine director Shawn Levy, who arrives on-stage. Levy is of course the director of Star Wars: Starfighter, which stars Gosling. Ghost Rider is due out at some point in 2028. The logo is in the image below.

Marvel Studios chief Kevin Feige is on the stage. His hat has an image of Doctor Doom on it. Feige talks about Marvel’s history in Hall H: the first Avengers cast reveal, Loki actor Tom Hiddleston in costume, and the Robert Downey Jr. reveal as Doctor Doom from two years ago. He says it all comes back to the comics. “Without the comics, no MCU, no movies, no TV shows, no animation, nothin,” Feige says.
Feige asks if anyone is watching X-Men ’97, which gets plenty of cheers. He also mentions Disney Plus show, Vision Quest, which is coming out in October as the third part of the WandaVision trilogy. “We’re very excited for that,” he says.
Feige is here to mainly talk about MCU movies though, and mentions Endgame to more cheers. We’re shown a trailer for Avengers: Endgame Encore. The trailer we see is all old footage, but the logo is ENDGAME ENCORE (no “Avengers”). Feige then says it will have exclusive footage from Doomsday.
It’s beginning!
We’re about to begin, and we’re being told not to record footage. That means NEW footage will be shown here at Hall H! The Marvel Studios logo is displayed, alongside footage from previous Marvel movies, including Black Panther, The Fantastic Four, Shang-Chi, Spider-Man movies, and Deadpool & Wolverine. Herbie (the original The Fantastic Four: First Steps design) is on-stage, just rolling around on his own. He’s laughing and waving hello in Herbie speak. This is good crowd warming up stuff! Herbie said goodbye, waves, and rolls away.
Doom!
Marvel Studios is handing out plastic Doom masks to attendees. The audience is chanting, “Doom! Doom! Doom!” Yes, there’s a lot of energy in Hall H right now…
