The Marvel Cinematic Universe has come to San Diego Comic-Con once again, and here’s everything Marvel Studios has announced and revealed about its projects during its Hall H panel. The panel, which started at 5:30 PST / 8:30 EST, has become a nearly yearly tradition for Marvel Studios, as Kevin Feige loves to come to the convention and give fans plenty of reasons to discuss upcoming MCU movies and shows.

Since only a select few thousand fans can be in Hall H for the Marvel Studios presentation, we’re here to give a live, updating collection of what Feige and any special guests discuss. You never know what he has up his sleeve either, as years past have seen everything from surprise castings like Brie Larson’s Captain Marvel, Mahershala Ali’s Blade, and Robert Downey Jr.’s Doctor Doom to the Phase 4 slate reveal.

While I’ve gone on record with some predictions for Marvel Studios’ SDCC 2026 panel, here is everything that has officially been revealed about Avengers: Doomsday and the MCU’s future. But before any major news came, the panel began with a franchise sizzle reel featuring footage of The Avengers as Nick Fury talks about bringing “together a group of remarkable people,” before showing Tobey Maguire’s Spider-Man, the X-Men, the Fantastic Four, the Thunderbolts, and more, before concluding with Wolverine saying “Let’s go,” as Kevin Feige took the stage.

Ryan Reynolds appeared as an audience member during the panel fully suited up as Deadpool, and he notably sported a brand new costume that is grey and black.

The appearance included banter between Reynolds and the Doomsday cast, such as asking Paul Rudd why Thor was crying in Deadpool & Wolverine and if there is any additional photography still to come to add Deadpool into the movie. As of a result, it is unconfirmed if Deadpool is in Avengers: Doomsday, but the appearance here in a new costume does increase the chances.

New Avengers: Doomsday Poster

Marvel Studios debuted a new Avengers: Doomsday poster showcasing the full design of Robert Downey Jr.’s Doctor Doom. Downey was also on stage talking about the movie for a portion of the panel and teased, “Decisions will have to be made. You’re either on the side of the good guys, or perhaps, you may consider the alternative of perhaps joining the family of Doom.”

Attendees were treated to an exclusive look at Avengers: Doomsday, with the footage highlighting how Reed Richards and Victor Von Doom have a history together, something Pedro Pascal confirmed during the presentation.

The footage begins with Sue Storm describing Doom as “the smartest guy in every room” as the villain is shown sitting on his throne. She continues to say, “He used to be different. He used to be kind. He used to be caring,” as shots of Magneto, Gambit, and Steve flash on screen. Sue is telling Thor and the Avengers about him at that moment, saying, “Everything he loves was taken from him. I knew he was lost. But I did not realize that he was broken.”

The teaser cuts to Reed talking to Doom, asking, “Victor, did you do this?” Doom is then heard saying, “All of you have lived stolen lives. Now you must give them back,” as shots of Professor X, Magneto, Steve, Thor and Love, Loki, Shuri, and Cyclops are shown. Doom then flies into a battlefield, and we cut to Reed repeating his question to Doom, only now yelling at him.

The footage concluded with Thor fighting Doom, as seen in the Avengers: Doomsday trailer, with Thor saying, “You’ll pray for hell long before I grant it,” as he attacks. Victor uses magic to defeat the god of thunder and summons an army of sentinels as he says, “I am Doom.”

The Black Panther 3 portion of the panel also brought confirmation that Alien: Romulus star David Jonsson has been cast as an older version of T’Challa’s son, Touissant/T’Challa II from Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. He’ll star in Black Panther 3.

Jonsson took the stage in Hall H to thunderous applause and spoke briefly about getting the part. He first thanked Ryan Coogler and Kevin Feige. Jonsson then said, “I actually don’t want to say too much, because I want this screen to do the talking. But believe me, the honor is entirely mine. Thank you.”

This was the final announcement and end of Marvel Studios’ SDCC 2026 panel. So to recap, Marvel officially cast a new Black Panther and Ghost Rider, confirmed Ghost Rider and Black Panther 3 as 2028 releases, and more, giving MCU fans plenty to think about as Doomsday approaches.
