Poole Hospital’s patient transport area now features 12 images of wildlife and landscapes from across Poole, chosen by patients and staff, with printing and installation donated by Grosvenor Interiors.
The photos were printed and installed by Grosvenor Interiors, with the display aiming to offer patients comfort and a sense of calm as they travel to and from appointments.
Max Carter, who led the project for the photography club, said: “We arranged a special day out for the club in Poole, tasking members to come up with striking and unusual images of Poole.”

The project was made possible after Jessica Tyler, fundraising manager for University Hospitals Dorset (UHD) NHS Charity, won the cost of printing and installation in a competition at an NHS Charities Together conference.
Laura Joy, arts manager at UHD, said: “We would love to have more uplifting local scenes in our hospitals and would be interested in hearing from anyone who may be interested in sponsoring a panel or series.”
The artwork has already had an impact on patients and staff, many of whom have recognised and reminisced about the areas depicted in the photographs.
